Veterinary Physiotherapy
Veterinary Physiotherapy utilises evidence based treatments and interventions, to reduce pain, restore function, and improve performance. Each treatment plan is tailored to the individual; there is no "one size fits all" approach. Veterinary Physiotherapy is a vital aspect of rehabilitation following surgery or injury, alongside aiding the management of chronic musculoskeletal or neurological conditions. It is also incredibly useful in the ongoing maintenance of sporting and performance animals. Veterinary Physiotherapy is a holistic approach, using a combination of manual therapies, electrotherapies, remedial exercises and home management advice.

Under the Veterinary Surgeon's Act 1966 and the Exemptions Order 2015, all treatment for rehabilitation, injury or condition management must be carried out under referral by a veterinary surgeon. Cases that are maintenance/fitness only do not require veterinary referral.
